2007: New beginning

Changing to a lower voice category: “Bass-baritone”. Since January 2007 with Maestro Bruno Pola (Singing technique and role preparation)

2004: Pause:

Riccardo Di Francesco took a pause for reflection, to rethink his whole plan to become a Singer.

1997 until 2003: Florence

Studies in Florence with Professor Gennaro Sica (Conservatorio Statale di Musica “Luigi Cherubini”) in the voice type “Tenor”. To this day, Riccardo Di Francesco regularly works together with Professor Gianni Fabbrini – first and foremost in the field “role and character study”.

1996: the premiére

The operatic fire was lit. A role in “Rigoletto” by G. Verdi at the “Festspielhaus Bregenz” meant love from the very first note, and from now on the goal was the Italian opera.

1986 – 1996: the basic

In this period Riccardo Di Francesco achieved a well founded musicality, together with stage experience, in more than 1000 performances. Six CDs of light music were produced during these years.
