ALIDORO – from the opera La Cenerentola by Rossini – is a philosopher, mentor and confidant of Prince Ramiro, and also helps to find a suitable wife for the prince. Alidoro first appears disguised as a beggar and later pulls all the strings. The story of Cinderella and how she lost her slipper is well known and well loved.
