LEPORELLO – from the opera Don Giovanni by Wolfgang Amadé Mozart – is the servant of the womaniser Don Giovanni, acting as a look-out, organising the “parties”, and occasionally he also snatches a few remnants from the dining table of his boss. Of the two he is the one who meets a considerably better fate at the end of the opera.
