CLEMENTE – from V.Bellini’s opera BIANCA E FERNANDO – is a companion to the good character in the opera. In the staging by Peter George d’Angelino Tap he plays the role of intermediary between the good and the bad, eventually succeeding in helping the good forces to prevail at the end:a happy ending without fighting and bloodshed.
